Bangladesh Women’s U-19 team ended their ICC Women’s U-19 World Cup campaign on a high note with a commanding 10-wicket victory against West Indies in their final match of the tournament. Having been eliminated from the competition after losing to India in the Super Six stage, this match against West Indies was a mere formality for Bangladesh.
In their last match, Bangladesh bowled out West Indies for just 54 runs in 13 overs. Bangladesh chased down the target effortlessly, scoring 55 without losing a wicket in just 8.5 overs.
On a day of brilliant bowling, Bangladesh restricted West Indies to a paltry total of 54 runs. Nishita Akter Nishi was the standout performer, taking 3 wickets for just 11 runs in 3 overs.
