BCB age-level player selection 2025 held in Sylhet.

As part of its annual tradition, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is organizing the 2025 Age-Level Player Selection Program in Sylhet. The event aims to identify promising young cricketers in the U-14, U-16, and U-18 categories. The selection will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Ansar Camp of Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

According to the announced eligibility criteria,

Players born on or after September 1, 2011, can participate in the U-14 category.

Players born on or after September 1, 2009, are eligible for the U-16 group.

Players born on or after September 1, 2007, can take part in the U-18 category.

The selection activities will begin as per the scheduled times U-14: 9:00 AM, U-16: 11:00 AM,U-18: 1:00 PM

Participants have been requested to report to the venue at least 30 minutes before their respective start times.

To attend the selection, players must bring the following required documents:

A copy of the online birth certificate

PSC/JSC/SSC registration card or certificate (whichever is applicable)

One recent passport-size photo

One stamp-size photo

The primary objective of this BCB age-level initiative is to discover young cricketing talents from different regions of the country and provide them with professional training and development opportunities under BCB’s supervision. Selected players from this program will advance to the next stage of BCB’s development structure — a vital step toward future inclusion in national-level teams.

The upcoming selection event has already created significant excitement among local players and sports enthusiasts in Sylhet. Locals hope that through this initiative, the next generation of stars like Rajin, Tapash, or Alok will be discovered from the Sylhet region.
