Seven New Members Approved for Chattogram Regional Cricket Association
In a significant step to strengthen the regional structure of cricket development in the country, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has approved seven sports organisers as members of the Chattogram Regional Cricket Association.
In a press release issued in Dhaka on Sunday (5 April 2026), the BCB stated that Board President Md. Aminul Islam has approved the inclusion of seven individuals as members of the Chattogram Regional Cricket Association.
According to Clause 15.1 (KA) of the BCB Regional Cricket Association Policy 2022, the nominations have been made in recognition of their long-standing contributions to the development and promotion of cricket in the region.
The approved members are Mirza Salman Ispahani, Feroz Ahmed, Mohammad Nasir Khan, Ahsan Iqbal Chowdhury, Asif Akbar, Fazle Rabbi Khan, and Badrul Huda Jenu.
