Salaries Increased for Centrally Contracted Women Cricketers: Who Gets What?
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is giving greater attention to women cricketers. In its 16th board meeting held on Saturday, December 21, the BCB decided to increase the salaries of women cricketers under central contracts.
The BCB also released the list of players included in the central contracts for the period from October 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.

Grade 'A':

Nahida Akter
Grade 'B':
Fahima Khatun
Shamima Sultana
Sharmin Akter Supta
Murshida Khatun
Marufa Akter

Grade 'C':
Sobhana Mostary

Grade 'D':
Disha Biswas

Promotions in Grades:
Sharmin Akter Supta, Murshida Khatun, and Marufa Akter have been promoted from Grade 'C' to Grade 'B'.
Rabeya moved from Grade 'D' to Grade 'B'.
Shorna Akter advanced from Grade 'D' to Grade 'C'.
New Monthly Salaries by Grade:
Grade 'A': Previously BDT 100,000, now increased to BDT 120,000.
Grade 'B': Previously BDT 80,000, now increased to BDT 100,000.
Grade 'C': Previously BDT 60,000, now increased to BDT 70,000.
Grade 'D': Previously BDT 50,000, now increased to BDT 60,000.
This salary adjustment reflects the BCB's commitment to improving the financial well-being of women cricketers in Bangladesh.
