Bangladesh ‘A’ Begin Top End T20 Series as Shakib Returns to CPL Action
The Top End T20 Series 2025 is set to begin in Darwin, Australia, with Bangladesh ‘A’ taking part for the second time. Meanwhile, star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is in the West Indies, ready to light up the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) once again after two seasons. Interestingly, the day before Shakib’s first CPL match, Bangladesh ‘A’ will also be in action.
On the tournament’s opening day, Bangladesh ‘A’ will face Pakistan ‘A’ tomorrow, August 14, at 3:30 PM Bangladesh time. T Sports will broadcast the entire series live for Bangladeshi viewers.
Just hours later, in the early morning of the following day, Shakib will play in the CPL 2025 opening match. Representing the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, he will take on the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots at Warner Park, starting at 5:00 AM Bangladesh time on Friday.
After last playing in the CPL in 2022 for Guyana Amazon Warriors, Shakib returns this season to join the Falcons. All matches of the tournament will be streamed live for Bangladeshi fans via the CPL’s official YouTube channel and verified Facebook page.
