Fariha Trisna disappointed despite hat-trick
Fariha Trisna's hat-trick has become Bangladesh's today's gain. Like the second time in international cricket, she has achieved a hat-trick. Earlier, there was a hat-trick against Malaysia too. This opportunity came in the T20 series against Australia this time. However, Bangladesh couldn't manage to win the match from the second match of the series.
Fariha's hat-trick in T20 cricket brings joy. But Bangladesh lost the match till the end. She has achieved a hat-trick twice in international cricket, the third among such bowlers. If seen as a country of full ICC members, Fariha is alone in this list.
At the end of the match's press conference, this left-arm pacer said,
"The target was to try to do something good. After a long time, I returned to T20, got the chance to play a match, tried to perform well, tried to give something to the team."
From the fourth to the sixth ball of the last over of the innings, Fariha took the wickets of Ellyse Perry, Sophie Molineux, and Beth Mooney. When asked what was in her mind while taking the hat-trick ball, Fariha said,
"I will do what I have to do in my place, if Allah helps, if something happens."
Bangladesh lost the series from their perspective by losing today's match. Despite Fariha's hat-trick, there is regret over the loss for her.
"Yes, of course, there is regret. If the team's gain is achieved from one's own gain, then the pleasure of one's own gain is greater. If the team wins, then this gain can be celebrated well. The team comes first."
