The tournament, featuring eight teams, will begin on September 30 with the opening match between hosts India and Sri Lanka at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
On the second day of the tournament, October 1, defending champions Australia will face neighbors New Zealand in Indore. The much-anticipated clash between Bangladesh and Pakistan will be held on October 2 in Colombo.
The initial round concludes on October 3 with a high-voltage encounter between England and South Africa in Bengaluru. Following that, the teams will compete in a round-robin format until October 26, with two major matches on the final day of the league stage: England vs New Zealand in Guwahati and India vs Bangladesh in Bengaluru.
