Lanka Premier League 2025 Dates Finalized

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has officially announced that the 6th edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) will be held from 27 November to 23 December 2025.

The matches will be hosted across three premier international venues:

R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPICS), Colombo

Pallekele International Cricket Stadium (PICS), Kandy

Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium (RDICS), Dambulla

LPL Tournament Director Samantha Dodanwela stated:

“The key objective of scheduling the LPL during this period is to align it with preparations for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, allowing players the ideal build-up.”

Since its inception in 2020, the LPL has been held annually and has become Sri Lanka’s premier domestic T20 tournament, featuring top local and international stars.

The LPL has already secured a significant place in Sri Lanka's cricketing calendar, and with the 2025 edition approaching, excitement is building among fans and followers of the game.
