Virat Kohli's Autographed Bat Selling for High Price in Australia

Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in world cricket, with immense popularity not just in India, but across the globe. Despite experiencing a dip in form towards the later stages of his career, Kohli's star power continues to rise. This was further confirmed recently when his autographed bat was put up for sale at a steep price in Australia.

While the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is underway with the Perth Test, Kohli's autographed bat is being displayed at the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre in Sydney. The price tag for the bat is an eye-watering 2,985 Australian dollars, which is approximately 230,000 Bangladeshi Taka.

Australian journalist and YouTuber Norman Kochnenek posted a video on Twitter showing the bat and revealed the price. He stated, "An MRF bat signed by Virat Kohli is displayed at the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre in Sydney. It is priced at 2,985 Australian dollars, which is about 164,000 Indian rupees. The handle of the bat is a bit smaller, but it is heavy, weighing around 2.9 ounces. And as a bonus, it comes with a container (cover)."

It is worth mentioning that Kohli has been sponsored by the Indian tire manufacturing company MRF since 2013, with the sponsorship deal set to last until 2025.

On the other hand, Kohli’s form with the bat has not been great lately. In the first innings of the opening Test against Australia, he was dismissed for just 5 runs. Kohli has struggled to find his rhythm in recent times.
