Australia dominated India by 10 wickets, completing the test match in just two and a half days. After a big loss in the Perth Test, Australia made a strong comeback in Adelaide, leveling the series 1-1. This match is the shortest Test between India and Australia in terms of balls played.

By the end of Day 2, Australia was already on the brink of victory. On Day 3, they bowled India out for just 19 runs in their second innings, and then the Australian openers quickly chased down the target in just 20 balls.

Earlier, India won the toss and batted first, only to be bowled out for 180 runs, thanks to a fiery spell from Mitchell Starc. Nitesh Reddy was the top scorer for India with 42 runs, while KL Rahul and Shubman Gill made 37 and 31 runs, respectively. Mitchell Starc took 6 wickets for Australia.

In response, Australia scored 337 runs in their first innings. Travis Head played a spectacular innings, scoring 140 runs, giving Australia a 157-run lead over India. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj took 4 wickets each for India.

Trailing by a huge margin, India came out to bat in their second innings. However, Australia’s Pat Cummins wreaked havoc on India’s batting lineup. Just like in the first innings, Nitesh Reddy top-scored for India with 42 runs. Rishabh Pant made 28, and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 24, but the rest of the Indian batsmen failed to reach double figures.

India was all out for 175 runs in their second innings, leaving Australia a target of just 19 runs. The Australian openers, Usman Khawaja and Matt Renshaw, chased down the target in just 20 balls, securing a 10-wicket victory and leveling the series.

Pat Cummins claimed 5 wickets, while Scott Boland took 3 wickets, and Mitchell Starc took 2 wickets for Australia.
