Sufyan Mukim's Dominance Leads Pakistan to 10-Wicket Victory over Zimbabwe
Pakistan has claimed a dominant 10-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the second T20 match, securing the series with two wins. Zimbabwe was bowled out for just 57 runs, with Pakistan chasing down the target of 58 without losing a single wicket, finishing the match with 87 balls to spare.
Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to bat first in Bulawayo. The opening pair of Brian Bennett and Tadiwanashe Marumani got off to a flying start, taking the score to 37. However, Marumani fell for 16 runs, and the Zimbabwean batting line-up crumbled like a house of cards. Bennett was dismissed for 21 runs off 14 balls, and no other batsman managed to reach double digits.
It was Sufyan Mukim's bowling that tore apart Zimbabwe's innings, as he claimed 5 wickets for just 3 runs. Zimbabwe was all out for a mere 57 runs in just 12.4 overs.
Chasing a modest target of 58, Pakistan's openers, Omair Yusuf and Saim Ayub, played aggressively from the outset. They comfortably chased down the target in just 5.3 overs. Omair remained unbeaten on 22 runs off 15 balls, while Saim Ayub scored 36 runs from 18 balls.
Sufyan Mukim's remarkable bowling performance earned him the Player of the Match award for taking 5 wickets while conceding only 3 runs.
