Litton to Return to the Team, Miraz's Confidence

Litton Das has been dropped from the team starting from the third ODI against Sri Lanka. In his place, Jakir Ali Anik has been given an opportunity in the squad. This decision of the new selection panel remains somewhat unknown to cricket enthusiasts in Bangladesh, sparking limitless discussions.

Today, during the press conference, the media discussed various aspects with Mehidy Hasan Miraz as well. The exclusion of Litton, automatic assumptions, the new selection panel - the conversation has covered a myriad of topics.

No one in this team is automatic, as stated by the new captain Najmul Hossain Shanto during this Sri Lanka series. It's good to not have such assumptions in the national team, even though he did not elaborate, clarity can be achieved without making a statement. "Litton has played many brilliant innings. There are many innings that are memorable. I don't think he is finished; I believe he can make a comeback. He has the capability within him. We know what type of player Litton is. He has faced setbacks before and made comebacks. I believe he will return to the Bangladesh team."

The exclusion of Litton may perhaps be a message for others as well. To be in any team, you have to perform consistently, which is a natural path for everyone. Regarding this message, Miraz stated,

"Every selection panel has its own mindset. If you ask me about it now, maybe I won't be able to say. Because that's their mindset. I don't discuss this much with them. Maybe the team management, coach, or captain can better explain this."

"Everyone has their own thoughts. Every player has to perform. If you don't perform, you won't be able to play for the national team or anywhere in the world. You have to perform in every place. In my opinion, every player should be more serious about performance. If you have improved in any aspect, it is better to work on that."
