BCB Congratulates Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan
Yesterday (August 8), the advisors of Bangladesh's interim government took their oaths of office. Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus was the first to be sworn in, followed by 13 advisors. Three advisors, being outside Dhaka, were unable to take their oaths. Today, the allocation of ministries was announced, with Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, a key coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Movement, being appointed as the Advisor for the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has extended its congratulations to Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan on his appointment as the Advisor responsible for the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
In a press release, the BCB congratulated Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan on his new role. The statement read:
"The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) extends its heartfelt congratulations to Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan on his appointment as the Advisor of the Interim Government responsible for the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The BCB is confident that Mr. Bhuiyan, with his passion and commitment to the advancement of sports, will provide exemplary leadership and vision in his new role. His appointment comes at a pivotal time for sports in Bangladesh, and the BCB wishes him every success. The BCB looks forward to working together to achieve shared goals for the betterment of cricket in Bangladesh."
