BCB Clears Bangladeshi Cricketers for PSL Participation
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has stated that it has maintained close coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the participation of Bangladeshi cricketers in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 tournament.
In a media release on Monday (March 23), the BCB said that, following discussions with the relevant authorities, it has been confirmed that there are currently no security concerns for the players taking part in the tournament. This decision has been made based on assurances provided by the Bangladesh Mission in Islamabad.
With these assurances in place, the players have already travelled to Pakistan to participate in the tournament.
The BCB further stated that the safety and wellbeing of its players remain its top priority. The Board will continue to maintain regular communication with all concerned parties on this matter.
