A new cricket league, being endorsed by former India chief selector Chetan Sharma, will kick off on March 10 in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. The five-team league, called the Asian Legends League (ALL T20), will run till March 18 with some of the finest former cricketers from across Asia participating. The matches will be played in T20 format.

The five participating teams from the continent are Indian Royals, Sri Lankan Lions, Bangladesh Tigers, Afghanistan Pathans and Rest of Asian Stars. "The ALL T20 is more than just a cricket league - it's a celebration of retired Asian cricketers coming together. The league gives fans an exciting opportunity to watch legends from all corners of Asia compete in a country-versus-country clash," said league commissioner Chetan Sharma. An ALL T20 release said, the selection of the teams will be done through a player draft, which will take place in New Delhi on February 15. Only registered players will be chosen in the draft for their respective teams. Herschelle Gibbs (Bangladesh Tigers), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (Afghanistan Pathans) and Marvan Atapattu (Asian Stars) have been revealed as coaches. "A star-studded lineup of legends from these countries will feature in the tournament," the release said. The matches will be played at the Miraj International Cricket Stadium in Nathdwara, Rajasthan.
