India to Tour Bangladesh in August for ODI and T20I Series

The Indian cricket team is set to tour Bangladesh in August for a white-ball series comprising three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed in an official statement today.

The matches will be hosted across two venues — the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, and the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. This will mark the first-ever bilateral T20I series between Bangladesh and India on Bangladeshi soil.

According to the itinerary, the Indian team will arrive in Dhaka on August 13. The ODI series will begin on August 17 at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, with the second ODI also held there on August 20. The third and final ODI will take place in Chattogram on August 23.

The T20I leg of the series will start in Chattogram on August 26, before moving back to Dhaka for the final two matches on August 29 and August 31.

BCB CEO Nizam Uddin Chowdhury expressed his excitement about the tour, stating:
