Despite the loss, Bangladesh 'A' claimed the three-match series 2-1, having secured victories in the first two games.
Batting first, Bangladesh 'A' posted a competitive total of 227, thanks to half-centuries from Yasir Ali (63) and Nasum Ahmed (67). However, the total proved insufficient as the visitors chased it down in 48.2 overs, finishing on 228 for 6.
New Zealand ‘A’ began their chase with a solid 77-run opening stand, but soon found themselves in trouble at 166 for 6. However, Dean Foxcroft (36*) and Jacob Foulkes steadied the innings, guiding their side to victory with an unbeaten partnership.
For Bangladesh, Mosaddek Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, and Nayeem Hasan picked up two wickets each. The pace bowlers, who dominated the earlier matches, went wicketless in this game.
