Rishad Hossain in the BBL

Bangladeshi bowling all-rounder Rishad Hossain has been rewarded for his impressive performances in the national jersey with a contract in Australia's Big Bash League (BBL). This will be Rishad's debut in the prestigious franchise cricket tournament.

The Big Bash League is one of Australia's major T20 leagues. Before the upcoming season, a total of nine Bangladeshi cricketers have entered the players' draft. Among them, Rishad Hossain has been selected by the Hobart Hurricanes.

Rishad will be available for 6 to 9 matches, including the finals, in this BBL season. The details of his participation were announced at the time of the draft.

The 14th edition of the Men's Big Bash League is set to begin on December 15 of this year.
