At the end of the third day of the Antigua Test, Bangladesh's score was 269/9, trailing by 181 runs from West Indies' first innings total. After Mominul Haque, Zakir Ali Anik also scored a fifty, but failed to take his innings further.

Although Bangladesh came close, they were not bowled out by the end of the day. At the close of play on the third day, Bangladesh was 269/9. Taskin Ahmed (11*) and Shariful Islam (5*) were unbeaten when the day ended.
