Speaking on the announcement, Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmad said:

“We are thrilled to host another bilateral T20I series against the Bangladesh Men's team. The ECB is always keen to provide the UAE national team with opportunities to play against quality opposition. In the past three years, we have hosted ICC Full Members like New Zealand, West Indies, and Afghanistan. This upcoming series against Bangladesh presents an excellent preparation opportunity for UAE ahead of the Asia Cup. We thank the Bangladesh Cricket Board for their continued support. Sharjah is a fantastic venue for T20 cricket, and we look forward to two exciting matches.”

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chief Executive Officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury commented on the series:

“We are delighted to see the Bangladesh National Team return to the UAE. BCB values opportunities for competitive cricket, and we thank the ECB for taking the initiative to host this series. With the Asia Cup and a busy international schedule ahead, this series will serve as vital preparation. We hope it will further strengthen the cricketing ties between BCB and ECB and offer quality entertainment to fans.”

This two-match series will be an important and engaging preparation for both teams ahead of upcoming international tournaments. Following this series, Bangladesh will head to Pakistan for a five-match T20I series.
