David Boon Retires as Match Referee After 14-Year Career, Honored by BCB
A Special moment at Chattogram as we honour ICC Elite Panel Match Referee Mr. David Boon for an outstanding 14-year officiating career.
A former Australian great, Mr. Boon played 107 Tests and 181 ODIs, was a member of the 1987 World Cup-winning team, and earned Player of the Match honours in the final.
Since 2011, he has overseen 183 ODIs, 119 T20Is, and 7 Women’s T20Is as Match Referee. Today’s Test marks his 87th and final appearance in the role.
