After previously announcing the squad for the first two ODIs, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has now revealed the squad for the third and final ODI as well as the upcoming four-day games.
One of the highlights of the latest announcement is the inclusion of promising young batter Amit Hasan, who has been in outstanding form in domestic cricket, particularly in the National Cricket League. Fast bowler Enamul Haque has also earned a spot in the four-day squad.
Wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan Sohan will continue to lead the team in both the final ODI and the four-day matches.
Several players — Parvez Hossain Emon, Shamim Hossain Patwari, Tanvir Islam, and Shoriful Islam — will leave the 'A' team after the first two ODIs to join the national team. Replacing them in the third ODI squad are Amit Hasan, Afif Hossain Dhrubo, Nasum Ahmed, and Muktidul Islam Mugdha.
Afif and Rejaur Rahman Raja are not included in the squad for the red-ball format. The four-day team includes Zakir Hasan, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, and left-arm spinner Hasan Murad. Both Amit Hasan and Muktidul Islam Mugdha have been included in both squads.
