New 11Member Ad Hoc Committee Formed Under Tamim Iqbals Leadership
Bangladesh Cricket Board has undergone a sudden major change.
The unrest surrounding ownership and management that has persisted over the past few months has now intensified.
Out of the current 25-member board of directors, seven have already resigned. The board was dissolved just a few days after the submission of a report by the committee formed to investigate the transparency of the elections.
On Tuesday afternoon, National Sports Council Director (Sports) Aminul Ehsan announced this decision at a press conference.
He stated that this step was necessary to address the board’s dysfunctional situation.
Meanwhile, the Sports Council has announced an 11-member ad hoc committee. The committee is headed by Bangladesh national cricket team captain Tamim Iqbal.
Other members of the committee include Rashna Imam, Mirza Yasir Abbas, Syed Ibrahim Ahmed, Israfil Khasru, Minhajul Nannu, Atahar Ali Khan, Tanzim Chowdhury, Salman Ispahani, Rafiqul Islam, and Fahim Sinha.
