Bangladesh Slip to 10th in Latest ICC ODI Rankings
Bangladesh Slip to 10th in Latest ICC ODI Rankings
Bangladesh have dropped one place in the latest ICC One Day International (ODI) rankings, falling from ninth to tenth without playing a match. The shift came after West Indies won the second match of their ongoing series against Pakistan, moving from tenth to ninth with 78 rating points. Bangladesh now hold 77 points.
The ICC released updated rankings for all three formats, and the news was disappointing for the Tigers in the ODI category. In T20Is, Bangladesh remain 10th, while in Tests they stay in ninth place.
This marks Bangladesh’s second slip to 10th in recent months. In May, the team fell to 10th in ODIs for the first time since October 2006, but a win against Sri Lanka briefly lifted them back to ninth. That progress has now been undone without them even taking the field.
