The West Indies have opted for a pace-heavy lineup, featuring four specialist pacers and a pace-bowling all-rounder, for the first Test against Bangladesh. The Tigers are set to face a formidable West Indies pace attack in Antigua.
The first Test will take place at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on November 22, starting at 8:00 PM Bangladesh time.
As usual, Kraigg Brathwaite will lead the West Indies team. The pace attack includes Kemar Roach, Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, and Jayden Seales, alongside pace-bowling all-rounder Justin Greaves.
All-rounder Kavem Hodge, like Greaves, is also part of the playing XI. The left-arm spin-bowling all-rounder is the sole spinner in the West Indies lineup.
