Bangladesh defeated West Indies by 27 runs in the second T20 of the series. Batting first, Liton Das' team scored 129 runs. In response, West Indies was bowled out for just 102 runs in the 19th over, giving Bangladesh its second consecutive victory and securing the series win.

With this win, Bangladesh leads the three-match T20 series 2-0 and has clinched the series with one match still remaining. In this low-scoring match, the Caribbean batters struggled against Bangladesh's strong bowling attack, with only three batters reaching double figures.

At Arnos Vale Stadium in Saint Vincent, Bangladesh’s innings was rescued by Shamim Hossain, who played a brilliant knock of 35* off 17 balls. Thanks to his efforts, Bangladesh posted 129/7. After managing just 45 runs in the first 10 overs, they scored 84 runs in the final 10 overs.

West Indies, chasing a modest target to keep the series alive, failed to capitalize on the opportunity. Taskin Ahmed struck early, dismissing openers Brandon King and Andre Fletcher in his first over. By the end of the first powerplay, West Indies had lost two more wickets.

Johnson Charles made 14 runs, but Nicholas Pooran was dismissed for a duck. Sheikh Mehedi Hasan played a key role in breaking West Indies’ momentum, removing both Charles and Pooran in consecutive overs. Hassan Mahmud and Tanzim Hasan Sakib also joined the wicket-taking party, as West Indies’ captain Rovman Powell could only manage 6 runs. Romario Shepherd was dismissed for a duck as well.

With this win, Bangladesh secured the series victory 2-0.
