England Announces ODI and T20I Squads for India Series
England has unveiled their squads for the ODI and T20I series against India. The series, set to take place in early 2025, includes a five-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series. Notably, the ODI squad will head straight to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy following the conclusion of the series.
Joe Root returns to the ODI squad after a lengthy absence, while Jos Buttler will captain both formats. However, Ben Stokes remains unavailable.
Brendon McCullum, England’s red-ball coach, will begin his new role as the white-ball coach during this series. The only difference between the ODI and T20I squads is Joe Root’s inclusion in the ODI lineup, while Rehan Ahmed takes his place in the T20Is.
