A stand at Eden Gardens will be named after India's star cricketer, Jhulan Goswami. This will be the biggest honor for Jhulan since her retirement from cricket in 2022. The legendary pacer will have a stand named in her honor at the historic Eden Gardens. The 'B' Block of the stadium will be renovated and renamed after her, specifically the stands near Gate No. 3 and 4.

The proposal to name the stand after Jhulan Goswami was approved at a meeting of the Apex Council. The stand is expected to be inaugurated during the upcoming India vs. England international match at Eden Gardens on January 22, next year.

A Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) official stated, "Jhulan is a legend. It was always expected that a stand would be named after her, and permission has been granted. It will be inaugurated during the India-England match."
