Bangladesh Aims to Avoid Whitewash in Final T20 Against India

After losing the Test series, Bangladesh is now set to face defeat in the T20 series as well during their tour of India. Following two consecutive losses, the team, led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, will seek to avoid a clean sweep in Hyderabad today. Zakir Ali Anik, who has struggled in both matches, may be replaced by Sheikh Mahedi for this final T20. Notably, Mahmudullah Riyad will play his last T20 match for the national team.

The match will kick off at 7:30 PM at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, coinciding with Riyad's farewell and the team's quest to avoid a whitewash. India may field a relatively weaker team in this match, but rain could disrupt play. In the previous two matches, India maintained the same squad, but they might give chances to Ravi Bishnoi, Tilak Varma, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshit Rana from the reserves.

In the last match at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, India set a daunting target of 222 runs for Shanto and Liton's side. Ultimately, Bangladesh managed only 135 runs, resulting in a substantial 86-run victory for India.

To escape a whitewash, Bangladesh must win this match; otherwise, they will face the embarrassment of losing in both formats. Bangladesh's track record in T20s against India is not strong, having lost 15 out of 16 matches.
