Bangladesh Squad Announced for the U-19 Women's T20 World Cup
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the 2025 U-19 Women's T20 World Cup. Bangladesh is placed in Group D of the tournament, alongside Australia and Scotland. The team will play their opening match on January 18.
In addition to the main squad, four players have been named as standbys. The 16-team tournament will take place from January 18 to February 2, 2025.
The Bangladesh team, led by Sumaiya Akter, is scheduled to depart for Colombo on January 2. Before the World Cup, the U-19 team will play four T20 matches against Sri Lanka from January 3 to 9.
After their preparatory matches, the team will travel to Malaysia for the World Cup campaign. All of Bangladesh's group-stage matches will be held at the UKM-YSD Cricket Oval Stadium in Selangor, Malaysia.
