Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan has been sidelined for the rest of The Hundred 2024 after suffering a hamstring injury.
Representing the Trent Rockets, Rashid sustained the injury while fielding in the final over of their match against Southern Brave on August 10.
To fill the void left by Rashid, the Trent Rockets have brought in Australian spin-bowling all-rounder Chris Green, who previously played for the three-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders in 2020.
In this season, Rashid Khan made a significant impact with both bat and ball, scoring 44 runs at a strike rate of 157.15 and taking nine wickets in five games.
