Asia Cup 2025 in India, 2027 in Bangladesh
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has recently announced sponsorship bids for ACC events scheduled between 2024 and 2027. The announcement includes a detailed schedule of upcoming tournaments and invites sponsorship bids for these events.
The ACC has outlined five main events:
- Men's Asia Cup
- Women's Asia Cup
- Under-19 Asia Cup
- Men's Emerging Teams Asia Cup
- Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup
According to the ACC's announcement, the 2025 Men's Asia Cup will be held in India and will be played in the T20 format. The 2027 edition of the Men's Asia Cup will take place in Bangladesh and will be in the One Day International (ODI) format.
The Women's Asia Cup will be played in 2026 in the T20 format. The Under-19 Asia Cup will be held in the ODI format for four consecutive years from 2024 to 2027.
The Men's Emerging Teams Asia Cup will be played in the T20 format in 2024 and 2026, and in the ODI format in 2025 and 2027. The Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup, played in the T20 format, will occur in 2025 and 2027.
For the Men's Asia Cup, there will be 13 matches per edition. The Women's Asia Cup, Under-19 Asia Cup, Men's Emerging Teams Asia Cup, and Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup will each feature 15 matches per edition.
The ACC has not yet announced the hosts for the other events beyond the two Men's Asia Cup editions. However, they have noted that changes to the schedule and hosts may occur at any time.
