Michael Vaughan Predicts England-Australia Final in 2024 T20 World Cup

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has made a bold prediction for the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup, forecasting that England and Australia will face off in the final on June 29 in Bridgetown.

Speaking on the Prairie Fire podcast and later sharing his predictions on his verified 'X' account, Vaughan identified the two teams he believes will reach the final of the T20 World Cup. According to him, the semifinal lineup will feature England, Australia, South Africa, and co-hosts West Indies, notably excluding India and Pakistan from his list of semifinalists.

Previously, Vaughan had predicted the semifinalists for the 2023 ODI World Cup, selecting England, India, South Africa, and Pakistan. However, his predictions did not fully materialize.

Vaughan's forecast for the 2024 T20 World Cup emphasizes the strengths of the English and Australian teams, suggesting they will be the ones to compete for the title in the final match at Bridgetown.
