Rohit Sharma and Team Celebrate Victory in India with Trophy

India’s cricket team has long faced the agony of coming close to winning ICC event trophies but falling short. Since their ICC Champions Trophy win in 2013, they reached several finals but couldn't clinch the title. This dry spell ended in 2024 with their victory in the ICC T20 World Cup, breaking an 11-year drought for ICC event trophies and a 17-year gap since their last T20 World Cup win.
