In List-A cricket, Shakib Al Hasan played his 307th match today. Among them, 247 matches were played for the Bangladesh national cricket team in One Day Internationals. In the 60th match, Shakib took a century (in List-A) for the first time in domestic cricket. He has now 10 hundreds in List A cricket.
At the BKSP 4 ground, Shakib Al Hasan scored a superb hundred against Gazi Group Cricketers. Representing Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, he scored 107 runs off 79 balls and was out. He touched the milestone of three figures with 73 balls, hitting 8 fours and 7 sixes, adding one more four later.
After playing an undefeated innings of 124 runs against the West Indies on June 17, 2019, it seemed as if Shakib Al Hasan's century was somehow eluding him. He scored fifty, crossed 80, and even 90 but failed to reach 100. Eventually, he was dismissed with a score in the three figures in List-A cricket. The wait was long, but for now, it's over.
