Prize Money Distribution in NCL T20: Who Got What?
The NCL T20 tournament has recently concluded, with Rangpur emerging as the champions after defeating Dhaka Metro by 5 wickets in the final. Dhaka Metro's captain Naim Sheikh became the highest run-scorer of the tournament, while Alauddin Babu of Rangpur was recognized as the best bowler. Abu Hider Rony, contributing with both bat and ball, was awarded the Player of the Tournament. Mukidul Islam Mugdho, for his remarkable performance in the final, was named Man of the Final.
Unlike the BPL, the NCL T20 doesn't offer hefty prize money. However, the champions, runners-up, and individual achievers were rewarded in various categories. The BCB had previously announced the prize structure on the NCL's official Facebook page.

Runners-up (Dhaka Metro): 1,000,000 BDT

Best Batter (Naim Sheikh):50,000 BDT
Naim scored a tournament-high 316 runs in 10 matches at an average of 31.60 and a strike rate of 135.07.
Best Bowler (Alauddin Babu): 50,000 BDT
Babu took 19 wickets in 9 matches.
Man of the Final (Mukidul Islam Mugdho):20,000 BDT
Mugdho took 3 wickets in the final against Dhaka Metro.
The tournament showcased thrilling performances despite its relatively modest prize money, underscoring the talent in Bangladesh's domestic cricket circuit.
