Based on fantasy points, the ICC has selected the best XI for the 2024 T20 World Cup, including Bangladesh's leg-spinner Rishad Hossain.
Afghanistan's Rashid Khan, who accumulated the highest fantasy points, has been named the captain of the team. The top fantasy point scorer among batsmen, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (437 points), is included as the wicketkeeper.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma did not make it into the team. The two openers are Australia's Travis Head (361 points) and David Warner (281 points). South Africa's Tristan Stubbs is set to bat at number four.
The two all-rounders are Hardik Pandya from India and Marcus Stoinis from Australia. Joining captain Rashid Khan as the second spinner is Rishad Hossain. The pace attack includes India's Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh, along with Afghanistan's Fazalhaq Farooqi.
