Mirpur Fencing Club Wins Bowling Competition at Jamuna Future Park

The Mirpur Fencing Club emerged as the champion in the exciting bowling competition organized by the Players Club at the largest and most modern shopping mall in South Asia, Jamuna Future Park, with a score of 403 points. Shining Sporting Club secured the runner-up position with 317 points. The day-long competition took place on the Level-5 Players Club Zone at Future Park, where eight teams from two clubs participated.

At the award ceremony, Dr. Mohammad Alamgir Alam, Director of Jamuna Group, presented the prizes to the winners. Also present at the event were Zubayed Al Hafiz, Deputy General Manager of Jamuna Builders, and Rumana Sharmin, Deputy Manager of Jamuna Builders.

In his speech as the chief guest, Dr. Mohammad Alamgir Alam stated, “The Players Club at Jamuna Future Park features a 22-lane bowling alley that meets international standards. In addition to bowling, we also have karaoke, billiards, snooker, and a musical corner. The Players Club hosts regular events, with bowling competitions being the most attractive. Previously, bowling competitions were held here with participation from embassies of ASEAN, the Middle East, and Europe. The latest event was the internal bowling competition organized by Jamuna Group.”

Dr. Alam further emphasized, "We strongly believe that sports can keep the youth away from degradation. Through sports, we can contribute to a peaceful, happy, and prosperous Bangladesh. We are aware of the shortage of grounds in our city, and Jamuna Future Park aims to provide an escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life through these recreational facilities."

Encouraging more participation, Dr. Alam said, "From April onwards, there will be several bowling competitions at the Players Club of Jamuna Future Park. For those who wish to organize corporate events, this Players Club is an ideal choice. We have a world-class gaming zone, and we provide full support including games, refereeing, and media coverage."

Rumana Sharmin, Deputy Manager of Jamuna Builders, added, "The Players Club is the largest bowling club in Bangladesh. Our main objective is to introduce all clubs in Bangladesh to bowling and organize tournaments in collaboration with the club. The medals and trophies for the competition were sponsored by Dream Tattoo Studio."
