In Hyderabad, Bangladesh's bowlers struggled to contain India's explosive batting display, led by Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav. Samson scored a brilliant 111 runs, while captain Suryakumar contributed 75 runs to propel India to a staggering total of 297 runs, winning the match by 6 wickets.

This score marks India's highest team total in T20 history, surpassing their previous record of 260 runs.

After winning the toss, Bangladesh managed to break the opening partnership in the third over, with Tanzim Hasan Sakib taking the catch off Abhishek Sharma, who was dismissed for just 4 runs. However, Suryakumar and Samson launched a relentless assault, quickly pushing the score to 50 runs within just 4.2 overs.

India racked up an impressive 82 runs during the powerplay, with Samson reaching his fifty in only 22 balls. By the 10th over, thanks to a barrage of sixes from Samson, India had already amassed 152 runs. They reached 100 runs in 7.1 overs, with Samson continuing to dominate.

Samson's innings of 111 came off just 47 balls before he was dismissed by Mustafizur Rahman in the 14th over. Suryakumar, who scored 75 runs off 35 balls, also contributed significantly before departing. Mahmudullah Riyad, in his last match, managed to claim a wicket, while Taskin Ahmed also took one, dismissing Riyan Parag, who was batting at an impressive strike rate of 261.

Despite the loss, Bangladesh faced a daunting challenge to avoid a whitewash in the series after such a formidable performance by the Indian batting lineup.
