The ICC has unveiled the revised schedule for the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup. Dubai International Stadium will host the high-profile India-Pakistan match. Although the tournament was initially planned to be held in Bangladesh due to ongoing political crises, it has been relocated to the UAE.

The ICC has announced the updated fixtures for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup. Bangladesh will play its opening match against Scotland in Sharjah. Dubai will also host the final of the 18-day tournament on October 20, in addition to the India-Pakistan match.

Bangladesh’s women’s team will play their opening match against Scotland on October 3, followed by a match against England on October 5. After a long break, they will face the West Indies in the afternoon of October 10. The Tigresses will play their final group stage match against South Africa on October 12.

In addition to the opening match in Sharjah, the city will also host the second semifinal on October 18. If India qualifies, they will play the first semifinal in Dubai on October 17.

Group 'A' includes six-time champions Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, while Group 'B' features hosts Bangladesh along with South Africa, England, the West Indies, and Scotland.

Each team will play four matches in the group stage, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals. A reserve day has been set aside for the semifinals and final. Before the main tournament starts, 10 warm-up matches will be held from September 28 to October 1.
