Australia Arrive in Bangladesh
The Australian cricket team has arrived in Dhaka for the upcoming series against Bangladesh. The touring side landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday afternoon, officially beginning preparations for the much-anticipated white-ball contest between the two teams.
During the tour, Bangladesh and Australia will face each other in a three-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series. Although Australia are without their experienced pace trio of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Josh Hazlewood, the reigning world champions have still travelled with a well-balanced and competitive squad.
All-rounder Mitchell Marsh will captain the visitors throughout the tour. Under his leadership, Australia have assembled a squad that combines both youth and experience.
The three ODIs will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, on June 9, 11, and 14.
Following the ODI series, the two teams will head to Chattogram for the T20I leg of the tour. The three matches are scheduled to take place at Bir Shreshtha Matiur Rahman Stadium on June 17, 19, and 21.
