Litton Das’s PSL Mission Ends, Returning Home Due to Injury
Karachi Kings are set to play their first match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 tonight (April 12) at 9 PM. Excitement was high among Bangladeshi fans, especially those eager to watch Litton Das in action. However, that anticipation will remain unfulfilled for now. Litton has been ruled out of the tournament due to a finger injury—his PSL journey ends even before facing a single delivery.
The right-handed batter sustained the injury during a practice session, where scans later revealed hairline fractures in multiple fingers. Recovery will take at least two weeks, prompting Litton to leave the Karachi Kings camp and return home. Litton himself confirmed the news to Cricket97.
The 30-year-old previously featured in the Lanka Premier League (LPL), Indian Premier League (IPL), and Caribbean Premier League (CPL), but is yet to make his debut in the PSL. This time, he was all set to represent Karachi Kings and had also received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the BCB for the entire tournament. Unfortunately, due to this untimely injury, he couldn't play even a single match.
Hope you all are well. I was truly excited to play in the PSL for Karachi Kings, but the Almighty had other plans....
