BPL 2025 Prize Money Announced Ahead of Final
Only a few hours remain until the winner of BPL 2025 is decided. Before the final, here's the breakdown of the prize money for the victorious team. The champion of this year's BPL will receive 2.5 crore Taka, while the runner-up will be awarded 1.5 crore Taka.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to increase the prize money this year compared to the previous ten editions of BPL. The winner will receive 2.5 crore Taka and the runner-up will get 1.5 crore Taka. Furthermore, the two teams eliminated in the playoff round will also receive monetary awards.
In the previous season, Fortune Barishal claimed the championship and received 2 crore Taka, while Cumilla Victorians, the runners-up, received 1 crore Taka. This year, both the prize amounts have increased by 50 lakh Taka. In addition to the increased amounts for the champions and runners-up, all four playoff teams will be awarded prize money.
The eliminated team from the Eliminator match, Rangpur Riders, will receive 40 lakh Taka, while Khulna Tigers, who were knocked out after the second qualifier, will be awarded 60 lakh Taka. The Player of the Tournament will receive 10 lakh Taka, and the Player of the Final will be given 5 lakh Taka.
