In a statement sent to the media on Thursday, the franchise said that Rezwan Kabir Siddique was not associated with Sylhet Titans.
The statement added that although he had brief involvement with the franchise ahead of the 12th edition of the BPL (2025–26), his contract was later terminated. At the same time, the franchise also requested the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to revoke his accreditation.
Sylhet Titans further stated that Md Nasim Ahmed Nayan served as the team manager of the franchise. The franchise also urged media outlets to correct their records and refrain from identifying Rezwan Siddique as a representative of the Titans.
