Ajay Jadeja has now surpassed Virat Kohli to become India's richest cricketer, with a net worth of ₹1,450 crore. This increase in wealth comes after he was declared the next Maharaja of Jamnagar, while Kohli's net worth stands at ₹1,000 crore.
Recently, Ajay Jadeja was announced as the successor Maharaja of Jamnagar by the current Maharaja, Shatrushalyas Singhji Digvijaysinghji Jadeja. Following this declaration, Jadeja's wealth has significantly surged.
The Jamnagar royal family has a long-standing connection with the world of cricket. The prestigious Ranji Trophy and Duleep Trophy are named after Jadeja's relatives, K.S. Ranjitsinhji and K.S. Duleepsinhji, respectively.
At 53 years old, Ajay Jadeja has represented India in 196 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 15 Test matches. He is currently working as a cricket commentator.
