The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially released the schedule for the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025, set to take place from February 19 to March 9 in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This 15-match tournament marks the return of the Champions Trophy to the cricketing calendar after its last edition in 2017. Defending champions Pakistan will host their first global cricket tournament since 1996, with UAE serving as a neutral venue.
The 19-day competition will feature eight teams: Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, and Pakistan (Group A) and Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa (Group B). Matches will be hosted at stadiums in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi (Pakistan), and Dubai (UAE).
The tournament will kick off on February 19 with Pakistan taking on New Zealand in Karachi. Key fixtures include India facing Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai and South Africa clashing with Afghanistan on February 21 in Karachi.
The much-anticipated Pakistan vs. India encounter will take place on February 23 at the Dubai International Stadium, while England and Australia will renew their rivalry on February 22 in Lahore.
The first semifinal is scheduled for March 4 in Dubai, and the second semifinal will be held on March 5 in Lahore. The final will take place on March 9 in Lahore, but if India qualifies, it will be moved to Dubai. Reserve days have been allocated for both semifinals and the final.
