Pakistan Wins T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, Defeats Bangladesh by 10 Wickets in Final
Pakistan has claimed the title of the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup for the first time, defeating Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the final at the Multan Cricket Stadium. This victory marks Pakistan's first-ever championship in this tournament, with India having won the previous three editions.
In the fourth edition of the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, Pakistan triumphed by 10 wickets in the final. Bangladesh, batting first, scored 139 runs, losing 7 wickets in the process. Pakistan easily surpassed the target, reaching 140 runs without losing any wickets in just 10.2 overs. Captain Nisar Ali scored 72 runs, and Mohammad Safdar contributed 47 runs, guiding their team to victory.
Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council, congratulated the team and the nation on this extraordinary achievement. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also celebrated the victory with a post on X (formerly Twitter).
PCB Chairman Mohammad Naqi praised the players, especially Captain Nisar Ali and Mohammad Safdar, for their exceptional performance in the final.
