Title: Delhi Capitals Secure a Thrilling Win Against Gujarat Titans. In a thrilling encounter last Wednesday night, Delhi Capitals edged out Gujarat Titans by a margin of just 4 runs. Positioned side by side on the points table, this victory was crucial for Delhi.
Delhi Capitals, batting first, set a challenging target by scoring 224 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. The Gujarat Titans, in response, kept up well with the required run rate and managed to reach 220 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Despite losing captain Shubman Gill early in the innings, Gujarat did not slow down. Another opener, Wriddhiman Saha, played a significant innings, scoring 39 runs from 25 balls, and when he was dismissed, the team's score had reached 95 in the 10th over.
Notable performances included Sai Sudharsan's 65 off 39 balls and David Miller's explosive 55 from 23 balls, which kept Delhi hopeful even as wickets fell at the other end. After Sudharsan's dismissal, both M Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatia returned to the pavilion with single-digit scores. It was then up to Miller to carry the team forward.
With 49 runs needed from the last 18 balls, Miller was dismissed, leaving Rashid Khan and Sai Kishore at the crease. Kishore hit two sixes in the 19th over before getting out, and in the final over, 19 runs were needed.
Mukesh Kumar bowled the last over for Delhi, during which Rashid Khan managed two boundaries and a six. However, with 5 runs needed off the final delivery, Rashid played a dot ball, resulting in Gujarat falling short by 4 runs. Rashid remained unbeaten on 21 runs from 11 balls.
For Delhi Capitals, Rashik Salam was the most successful bowler, claiming 3 wickets. Early in the Delhi innings, both openers returned to the pavilion in the same over with the score at 36. Sandeep Warrier took the wickets of Prithvi Shaw and Jack Fraser McGurk.

Alongside him, Pant remained unbeaten on 88 runs from 43 balls, which included 8 sixes and 5 fours, sealing a thrilling win for Delhi Capitals.
