One of Indian cricket's legends, Yuvraj Singh, is launching a T10 league in Canada. The tournament has been named Canada Super60, and the inaugural edition is set to take place in July.
Speaking about the new league, Yuvraj Singh said, "I am delighted to provide leadership and vision for the Canada Super60 league. This tournament could set an example for the future of cricket in this region. The combination of local talent and international stars will truly be something special. I’m thrilled to be part of this journey, and I can't wait to see the impact of this league on North American cricket."
The league will also feature a similar format for women’s cricket. A statement revealed, "A key feature of the league is the emphasis on inclusion for both men and women. The Canada Super60 will be the first league in North America to feature both men's and women's competitions from its inaugural season."
The tournament will consist of eight teams, with each team featuring a mix of local players, international stars, and players from associate nations. The opening edition of the league will be held in Toronto, Canada.
