Walton to Take the Field on Friday in the Corporate Cricket Carnival

After football, top global brand Walton is now set to take part in the biggest cricket tournament in the corporate arena. Sixteen renowned corporate organizations from across the country are participating in the “bKash Cricket Carnival 2025.” The tournament will take place on Friday and Saturday (21 and 22 November) at the Bashundhara Sports City cricket ground. On the opening day, Walton will face the online ticketing platform Shohoz in their Round of Sixteen match, scheduled to begin at 3:30 PM.

In the knockout stage, each team will get to play one match in the Round of Sixteen. Winners will advance to the quarterfinals, then the semifinals, and eventually the final. All matches of the tournament will be played with tape tennis balls and will be 6 overs per side. Each team will field 9 players, with a maximum of 5 players allowed to bowl. Among them, one bowler can deliver 2 overs while the rest can bowl 1 over each.

Last month, Walton became the Plate Champions in the “Corporate Football Champions Trophy 2025.” This time, the Walton corporate cricket team is equally confident about clinching the title in the “bKash Cricket Carnival 2025.”

The Walton Corporate Cricket Team is guided by Chief Advisor Md. Nazrul Islam Sarkar, Advisor Shahjalal Hossain Limon, and Team Manager Zoheb Ahmed. The 11-member Walton squad includes: Abdullah Al Mamun (Captain), Md. Sajjad Hossain (Wicketkeeper), Milton, Ranvi, Sahel, Najel, Nixon, Rafiq, Rakib, Zaherul, and Rakib.
